Jumble / FUSELab present VA – Re-Jumble – the first release of a new label, which existed previously in the form of a podcast-terminal and now the record-formation, responsible for the deepest forms of dub/bass and experimental/future beats.

A universal set for the independent space tourist – from deep rustling sketches and abstract rhythmic delights to synthetic flashes and 8-bit bursts. Minority Report beatmaking? Well, it’s on the way. Shinect is one of the projects which will, in a close future, allow you to control music, at home or on stage, with your hands, arms, head, elbows, DOGS, BURRITOS, and EVEN THE ROBOT! (assuming you already have a robot at home, by the way, who doesn’t?)
Here’s a short demo Shini made with his early 0.3 version of Shinect (which has already evolved a lot), demo which will show you basically how his system works.

Today, attach your belt and be prepared to get inside a new world of beat production. Sir « Skwall », one of the magician from the HERRMUTT LOBBY belgian crew, did a particular demonstration of beatmaking using Max4live and a Hercules usb controller.
Basically, each way of a fader provides a sound, the velocity is ruled by speed. With few effects and oscillators added, you could reach some great results as those demos shows…
To make it easy, the trigers listen to QSDF keys on pc keyboard on the default octave range.you can remap on your drumpad..
q – kik :3 kick + cym if you play a tom before
s – snare : first snare after a kick : snare next snares : claps and congas.
d – hihats : 2 series of 3 sounds according last drum was a snare or a kick.
f – tom :8 toms pitch decrement.

Anyway, that’ll be later, for now as a gift and to celebrate their 10 yearzzz of activities, the UNREZt label/collective who’s got certain tendencies to filthy beats and mad rythms gives us 2 compilations of few titles from those artists.
UNREZt is a belgian collective who’s looking for providing good sound, around hip-hop and electronica mainly, but also graphic works. They’ve got a particular style, watch that video, it’s clearly explained, even if it’s in french.
Well, this post, first post of the year, arrives on Jan 2nd, and there are 2 reasons to that
1) Maybe because it does not aim a being added to the load of 326 Happy New Year spams you’ve received, drunk pictures to untag, « who the fuck drew that tattoo on me yesterday night? » and « this dude’s been sleeping in my flatmate’s bed for the last 2 days, but who is he?? » We know you may need some time to figure it out, life and its magic does not belong to our field.
2) Maybe also because we wanted you to get some rest and come back here with fresh ears, after all this mess. We all know that many of us ended up in a random NYE party and ended up electing the DJ as #1 at « I’m completely failing this year starting from now. »
Magic moments… But let’s get to our point.
2011 is meant to be an important year, for Unlog, since this blog is on its way to become a more efficient platform to share and spread those Epic Waveforms, allowing more interactivity and a regular epic podcast including epic guests from everywhere. More than a simple graphic improvement (and believe me, it’ll be really good looking), we really want it to be more complete and informative about our musical topic.
